Two Metropolitan Police officers, Jerome Beasley, 41, and Luke Robinson, 39, have been charged with sexually assaulting a woman while off duty. Both officers, who are part of the central west command unit, are scheduled to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
Beasley and Robinson each face four counts of sexual assault stemming from an incident on April 21 at what the Metropolitan Police described as “a venue in W1.” Following these charges, both officers have been suspended from their duties, pending further investigation.
The charges come amid heightened scrutiny of police conduct and underscore ongoing efforts to address allegations of misconduct within the force. The case will be closely monitored as it proceeds through the judicial system.
