Train services in Newbury have been severely disrupted after a burst water main caused flooding on key railway tracks.
Passengers are being warned to expect significant delays throughout the day.
Great Western Railway (GWR) has confirmed that the flooding, alongside storm damage to Platform 1 at Newbury station, has led to fewer trains running on affected routes.
As a result, GWR anticipates ongoing cancellations and delays until the end of the day.
Direct trains between Newbury and London Paddington have been suspended. However, stopping services between Newbury and Reading, as well as Newbury and Bedwyn, are still operating. High-speed long-distance trains calling at Newbury remain unaffected.
Passengers are advised to check for updates and plan their journeys accordingly.
