London police are urgently appealing for the public’s help to find two missing teenage girls from Morocco who disappeared while on a student exchange program in the city.
Last Known Location and Circumstances
Douae, 14, and Houda, 15, were last seen at 8:30 PM on Tuesday, January 28, leaving their hostel in Tavistock Place, WC1.
The girls had arrived in London on January 25 for a week-long exchange program run by a private company. They were scheduled to return to Morocco on February 1, but their sudden disappearance has raised concerns.
Police Investigation and Concerns for Their Safety
Detective Chief Inspector Sarb Kaur, from the Central North Command Unit, emphasized the urgency of the search:
“We are appealing for any information about Douae and Houda’s whereabouts. They have traveled from Morocco and are in a country unfamiliar to them, so the longer they remain missing, the greater our concern for their welfare.”
Authorities have launched a dedicated investigation team and are working closely with the Moroccan embassy and the exchange program organizers to keep the girls’ families informed.
How to Help
Police urge anyone who may have seen Douae or Houda or has information on their whereabouts to come forward immediately. Reports can be made to local authorities or by calling the Metropolitan Police’s emergency helpline.
Time is crucial, and the public’s help could be vital in ensuring the safe return of these two teenagers.
