A 17-year-old boy has been stabbed and two other teenagers injured following a suspected house party attack in Nottingham.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Hounds Gate shortly after 11:40pm on Friday, where they found the boy with serious but non-life-threatening stab wounds.
A 17-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl also sustained injuries during the incident.
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that five teenagers—an 18-year-old man and four 17-year-old boys—have been arrested and remain in custody as investigations continue.
Road closures are in place on Hounds Gate, Maid Marian Way, Standard Hill, and Lenton Road while forensic teams examine the scene.
Due to the disruption, Nottingham Castle has announced a temporary closure.
Detectives believe the violence erupted during a party at a flat and are appealing for witnesses, particularly those who were inside the property or saw anyone fleeing the scene.
Officers are also urging drivers with dashcam footage from the area to come forward.
Authorities have reassured the public that there is currently no evidence linking this attack to other recent incidents in the city.
A visible police presence will be maintained to offer reassurance and gather further information.
Police have vowed to bring those responsible to justice, condemning the violence as “utterly unacceptable.”
