An 83-year-old man has been charged with the murder of an 84-year-old woman, Margaret Worby, who was found dead at her home in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
The tragic incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, prompting a swift response from Bedfordshire Police.
Police officers were called to Kingsbury Avenue in Dunstable at approximately 13:40 GMT on Thursday, following reports that a woman had been injured.
